
Michael J. Kokorelis, DMD, graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1975. In 1979 he graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry. Post-doctoral studies were completed at the University of Kentucky where he received a Certificate in Periodontics in 1981. In 1983 Dr. Kokorelis established his practice limited to Periodontics/Implants in Hampton, Virginia. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 1992.
Dr. Kokorelis is a member of the Peninsula Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Society of Periodontology, and the American Academy of Periodontology. In 2003, Dr. Kokorelis became a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Kokorelis is an active participant in the Peninsula Food Bank Program. He currently serves as Parish Council President at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
